FAQ

What type of wood do you use?

I love working with different species of wood. I especially like using wood that has been reclaimed. However for larger projects I usually buy lumber from a local lumber mill. I typically use maple, walnut, cherry and cedar. Occasionally the lumber mill will have something uncommon and I like trying out something new. Occasionally I will get lumber from a big box store for making some projects.

How much will it cost?

There are many factors that go into establishing a cost. The type of lumber is a consideration. The amount of time that it takes to make what you are looking for will factor into the cost. I would be happy to work up an estimate based on your specifications.

How long will it take?

I spend a great deal of time in my workshop building many things, however, it is not my full time job. In addition to a price quote, I can give a rather accurate estimate about a time frame.

What sort of project do you do?

I have made furniture, art, gifts, etc. If you take a look at the gallery page you will see many of the things that I have made. I also repair damaged or broken things made from wood.

Do you ship items?

I have recently started shipping smaller items. I am happy to entertain the possibility of shipping a product.

Where are you located?

I am located in the upstate of South Carolina in Clinton.

Who are you?

Briefly- my name is Everett. I am originally from Florida. I married my high school sweetheart, together we have two daughters. We have served as missionaries in South America. I learned how to fix things and build stuff while living overseas. After moving to South Carolina eight years ago to be house parents in a group home I started tinkering with pallet wood. I started making guitar stands and art. Once I saw the guitars of others on a stand that I made I was hooked. I am still amazed that stuff that I made is in other folk’s houses. The fact that someone is eating dinner tonight around a table that I made fills me with joy.

If you have any question for me about my work please feel free to send me a message. I would love to hear from you!
